Steve, Once you've transferred, you can apply Audio Suite plug-ins if necessary and then export the files using Command-Shift-k which will prompt you for a file format and location, etc. You don't have to do it in real time if you don't want to. If i split the file into different regions, ould it give me the option to export each region as a different file? Yes. If you select everything from start to finish, it will export each region as a separate file. Hello, I would like to rip my old tapes to a digital medium. My only question is what do you guys recommend using on the mac. I could use pro tools and split them up into regions and export each reagion as a different file. Hi Stephen, Use PT and after transferring them insert a noise reduction plug like waves x-noise and some mastering plugs and bounce them. If they are important tapes its worth the time!
