Re: Using iLok

2016-12-13 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Peter,
Sorry you're having trouble. First, make sure you have the latest version of
the license manager. Go to ilok.com and download the latest
build. Apart from that, when you launch the license manager, the very first
thing you have to do is log in. If you've entered your credentials in the past
and checked the checkbox to remember your info, simply pressing Return after
launching will put you in the application. From there, everything you do is via
keyboard shortcuts (found in the menu items) or by Tab and arrow keys. In case
you missed it, here's a link to a demo

I did of the license manager when it first became accessible. 99% of what's in
the demo still applies. I see Phil and Mike responded as well so you're in good
hands.
Cheers,
Slau

Re: Using iLok

2016-12-13 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Steve,
Nothing really changed in terms of workflow. The main thing you'll notice right
away is that sends are now grouped just like inserts, which is how they should
have appeared in the first place. Apart from that, there are a bunch of UI
tweaks but nothing that fundamentally changes things. I say all of this purely
from an accessibility point of view. The program itself has new features and
that's a different matter but things like track commit, freeze and off-line
bounce are completely usable.
HTH,
Slau
