2019-12-06 Thread Tom Hessels
Ok Slau,

I’ll change my workflow in 2019.10.

I think the raison why the marcros still worked in 2019.6 was that the macros
for the event list are still there in flotools 2019.5.1.

Sorry for bothering you but i’m a computer programmer and worked with them
since 1972 . I’m retired now but still wanna know why things work or (often)
don’t work.

RE: midi event list scipts not workin in pro tools 2019-10

2019-12-05 Thread Tom Hessels
Hi Slau,

Here again from a cold and foggy the netherlands.

I updated again to 2019.10 with the same result:

The scripts don’t work for me.

I selected the track in the track list table. Set the track vies to notes and
started the event list.

Selected the first row and with the arrow keys searched the note i wanna change.

With shift+option+} went to the length collumn.

And with control+command+enter try to change the length.

Typed in the new length.

In 2019.6 every thing worked: the lengtyh was changed and i could use the arrow
keys to find the nect note.

In 2019.19 the length didn’t changed and when pressing the arrow keys i not
hear any notes anny more.

I have to select a column to hear another note but length or another param
didn’t change when using the key combination to change it.

In both versions of pro tools i use the same procedure.

Do you Have any idea?

Tom.

RE: midi event list scipts not workin in pro tools 2019-10

2019-12-05 Thread Tom Hessels
Hi Slau,

I did set the view to notes.

Strange.

I will do an update to 2019.10 again.

I’ll come back, Tom.

Hi Tom, everything works in 2019.10 as well. You might not have had the track
view set to Notes rather than Clips. Actually, unless you're editing controller
data or other non-MIDI note events, you don't have to open the MIDI Event List.
You can just arrow to the notes and edit them. Some of that is just baked into
Pro Tools itself. Of course, Flo Tools turbo charges it but everything does
work in 2019.10.

HTH,

Slau

Hi,

To day i tried to usee the midi event list within pro tools 2019.10 using the

They didn’t work properly. I coudn’t edit events using the flo tools hot keys
etc.

I took a look at the flo tools website and saw that 2019-10 was not menioned.
So i got back to pro tools 2019.6 and all worked fine.

So if you use the midi event list you can better stay on 2019.6.

Hope this helps.

Tom.
