Re: rearranging the plugin chain order

2016-02-23 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi peter,
just to clarify at this time VO only for mouse down and mouse up using the
numpad.
just mouse down and mouse up.

This way its 1 key press for down & 1 for up.
This is not VO drag and drop!
Although I've not tried drag and drop in El Capita yet, looks like another to
do list thing! ;)
You do half to get use to turning on and off the numpad though! :)

Hi chuck,

Are you using just a drag and drop with vo?

Can the simular method be used to reorder tracks? :)

Re: rearranging the plugin chain order

2016-02-22 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi Martin,
Just to ad to john's post.
I use the numpad all the time either on or off depending if I need it for pt or
VO.
Theres many advantages of switching back and forth between numpad on and off.
1 of them is when I need to move a plug I just hit my numpad key which I made
for mouse up and navigate to the slot and hit my numpad key for mouse up and
bang its moved.
Heres just 1 more reason to use the numpad I have the numpad set up to monitor
hotspots when its turned on of course, so if I want to query the floor tom
levels perhaps I just hit numpad 8 and it reads out the floor tom levels.
So basically VO clear toggles the numpad on or off so when I'm done queering
each one of 10 hotspots I hit VO clear and go back to normal pt stuff! :)

Re: rearranging the plugin chain order

2016-02-22 Thread John André Lium-Netland
Hi,

Vo-semicolon and VO-period will not work in this case. Instead, focus your VO
cursor and mouse cursor to the first plugin you would like to move. Be sure to
place the focus to the name of the plugin, the right column in the insert
window. then press control-option-command-shift-space once. VoiceOver will say
Mouse down. Now, move the focus up or down with VO-up arrow or VO-down arrow
and find the slot where you would like to place this plugin. Make sure you’re
still in the right column. When the correct slot is found, press the same keys
again; control-option-command-shift-space, and VoiceOver will say Mouse up. You
have now moved the plugin to a new location in the insert string. Continue with
other slots until you have rearranged them as desired. Remember not to move the
focus any other places while the mouse is down, since this can have a number of
other and undesired results. ;)

Best,
John André

Re: rearranging the plugin chain order

2015-09-07 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi Steve,
Yes I do it every day. :)
Use the mouse down & mouse up VO command.
I have the num pad set up so its jut 1 key stroke.
Use the option key before mouse down to make a copy of the plug, your moving
but & if you just want to move it to an open slot just mouse down and then
mouse up on the insert where you want it to move to.
I use hot spots to mark the source and destination to make it very accurate
quick movements.
Remember navigate with VO to the name of the plug before trying it.
Contact me if you want me to walk you through it the first time.
YMMV
Chuck

I think? now, Slau is gonna be more your man for this, but I, thinks! LOL!
you can drag them and drop where you want them going. Now, that being said?
I'm not sure how that would work in context with the Voiceover Ddrag/drop
feature.

the order that they appear without deleting them am re inserting.

Thanks Steve
