the best blug ins for Recording Narration or Voice over artists

2017-02-18 Thread Ramy Moustafa
Hello all my friends:

I'm recording many hours containing Narration and Vo Tallents, and my
problem is editing, so, what are the best blug ins that you suggest
for editing? like a good noise gate, good Compresser to fix any small
volume problems, a good Mastering fx for Vo Projects?
and of cores, they must be accessible on pro tools.

I need your suggestions please
THanks

Have you tried using the ones included with pro tools? Any particular issues
you are having with those?

Re: the best blug ins for Recording Narration or Voice over artists

2017-02-18 Thread 'Joy Bausch' via Pro Tools Accessibility
Hey Ramy,
the gate-plugin in ProTools is quite good, I'd say.
Good alternative, in my opinion, FabFilter Pro-G.
Compressors, well, there are too many, but Waves, FabFilter, and also Native
Instruments are favourites on my list.
I personally have not messed enough with Izotopes' plugins, except for there FX
stuff like Stutter Edit. But i only hear great things about them, both the
Ozone suite and their restoration plugins.
