We are currently reworking the MPC5200 based boards and the PXA will be done afterwards. Drop me a note if you need more reliable information. Robert -- Dipl.-Ing. Sure! We've made a BSP for the phyCORE-PXA270; although it is not on the very latest revisions, it's still available on our homepage. And it will soon get an update. It has support for the onboard SJA1000. > I spent a BUNCH of time trying Arriba's BSP only to find it doesn't > support CAN and I don't have the background to immediately get things > working. Note that, for each board, you need a corresponding OSELAS.BSP, which means that somebody has to do the porting. You can do it yourself if you have the necessary skills; if not, you can ask people who do this stuff as their daytime job :-) Regards, Robert Schwebel -- Dipl.-Ing. [ptxdist] oselas bsp on phytec pxa270
Greetings, I'm more of a Linux Lizard than a Unix Wizard and I was wondering if anyone here has had success getting the OSELAS BSP to work on the PXA270 (including the CAN device)? I spent a BUNCH of time trying Arriba's BSP only to find it doesn't support CAN and I don't have the background to immediately get things working. I don't want to go down this same trail with OSELAS BSP if support for the board really isn't there. Thanks! James -- ptxdist mailing list ptxdist@pengutronix.de

Right. It looks broken, but was the only sane way to autogenerate partition images from a script. Robert -- Dipl.-Ing. [ptxdist] no CHS magic in genpart ?
Hi, http://www.pengutronix.de/software/genpart/index_de.html mentiones that "No CHS magic is done, only lba entries are filled out." IIUC then the only side effect of this, is fdisk giving out Partition 1 has different physical/logical beginnings (non-Linux?): messages. Is that right? -- Steven -- ptxdist mailing list ptxdist@pengutronix.de
[ptxdist] genpart creates 4 partitions !?
Hi, when using genpart to create the partition table in hd.img I noticed that always 4 entries are created. I only defined PTXCONF_IMAGE_HD_PART1_xxx but get three empty partition Generating partition 1 (start=0, size=1001 type=131) Generating partition 2 (start=0, size=0 type=0) Generating partition 3 (start=0, size=0 type=0) Generating partition 4 (start=0, size=0 type=0) Is this needed? Or could we change scripts/genhdimg to only create partition that are defined by the user? Thanks! Steven -- ptxdist mailing list ptxdist@pengutronix.de
