Puppet Version: 5.5.3 Puppet Server Version: 5.3.4 OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS (Bionic Beaver) As Puppet always makes resource tags downcased and the same thing is doing PuppetDB while querying (https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetdb/pull/260), tagged function should probably do the same. Desired Behavior: Following code should notify 'true':

It seems like if this is the only entry point for revoking certificates, we may either be able to do what Moses described above and lock the file to the puppetserver master process, or that may be unnecessary because short of messing with the file manually, there will be no entrypoint besides the API for updating it. We will need to verify that none of the auxiliary PE tools (e.g. node purge) have their own ways of revoking the cert without going through puppet cert or the API. It sounds like we are planning to pull support for the old web servers in favor of Puppet Server in a future Puppet release. We should go through and remove all of the settings from puppet.conf that would have been related to the other servers but will no longer be used. The following can definitely be deleted:* bindaddress* masterhttplog* ssl_client_header* ssl_client_verify_header Since webrick/rack support has been removed, and the ruby CA implementation is no longer reachable from the network. Assuming all of the cert related CLI commands are being rewritten for Puppet 6, then all of the following {{ca}} related settings will be dead:* ca* ca_name* cadir* cacert* cakey* capub* cacrl* caprivatedir* csrdir* signeddir* capass* serial* autosign* allow_duplicate_certs* ca_ttl* cert_inventoryNote when puppet is acting as an SSL client, it needs to know where the host-specific SSL files are, e.g. {{hostcert}}, so those can't be deleted.If we are removing support for legacy auth.conf in puppet6, then we can also eliminate:* rest_authconfigI'm not sure if {{fileserverconfig}} can be removed also?

Catalog compilation fails when the beginning of a hiera lookup is a double-byte character. i.e. lookup('message') commmon.yaml: — message: "こんにちは" Will fail during catalog compilation. However, if you do: — message "Hello こんにちは" The catalogue will compile. I'm assuming it's using the first character as a way to determine the type of value is coming in, is that correct ?
