Jira (FACT-1266) lib/.gemspec.in missing in facter-3.1.1.tar.gz
Title: Message Title Michael Moll created an issue Facter / FACT-1266 lib/.gemspec.in missing in facter-3.1.1.tar.gz Issue Type: Bug Affects Versions: FACT 3.1.1 Assignee: Unassigned Created: 2015/11/03 2:32 AM Priority: Major Reporter: Michael Moll lib/.gemspec.in is missing in facter-3.1.1.tar.gz. With this tarball it's impossible to build. I'm doing the packaging for FreeBSD and it's working after patching the file from the GH repo in, so it would be not a good idea to re-roll the tarball now, but this should be in for the next release. Jira (FACT-633) Puppet loads ZFS module on FreeBSD when ZFS is not enabled

Jira (PUP-1030) FreeBSD: Puppet triggers loading of ZFS module
Title: Message Title Michael Moll commented on an issue Re: FreeBSD: Puppet triggers loading of ZFS module I think that's because of facter. Add Comment Puppet / PUP-1030 FreeBSD: Puppet triggers loading of ZFS module When puppet starts the puppet ZFS provider issues the zfs command. On FreeBSD this automatically loads the ZFS kernel module. Even when ZFS is not used on that host. The provider should first check if ZFS is enabled or not. If it's not enabled it shouldn't execute any zpool or zfs commands as those will trigger the automatic load of the kernel module.
