So environments with a proxy set in a VM will cause this fact to fail after a timeout. Other ec2 facts will succeed as in fetch_endpoint, because the proxy is set to nill.Line 125 should be:open(@baseurl, :proxy => nil).readinstead ofopen(@baseurl).read Pretty sure this is still an issue based on the output in FACT-636.
