On Scientific Linux 6, applying a 'netconsole' service resource does not create the kill symlinks expected in following test fails because the test assumes that the generated run level {{/etc/rc order number will be '50' . d}} directories associated with the service. This behavior is covered by the following acceptance The test . Ensure netconsole is disabled{code}chkconfig --del netconsole{code}h3. Use puppet to enable netconsoleApplying the following manifest{code} service { 'netconsole':enable => true,provider => redhat, }{code}h3. Verify symlinksBoth start 'S' and kill 'K' symlinks to {{ / etc/init ticket_1343_should_add_and_remove_symlinks . d/console rb }} should exist for run levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 test passes on Scientific 6 . The following {{ls}} command{code}ls -1 /etc/rc.d/rc[2-5].d/*netconsole{code}Should list 8 symlinks similar to the following{code}/etc/rc.d/rc2.d/K11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc2.d/S11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc3.d/K11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc4.d/K11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc4.d/S11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/K11netconsole/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S11netconsole{code}
