If you previously modified the default codedir setting in the master section, then puppetserver 5.1.5 will overwrite it back to the default /etc/puppetlabs/code. What did /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/puppet.conf contain before and after the upgrade? Not on the agent though. puppetserver has been restarted, and trace shows nothing extra. The error message does not occur on the master server, either in any logs or when running puppet agent --test. The error message only occurs when running puppet agent --test on a client machine. The client machines do not have the directory environments installed on them and never have, the master does have the directory environments. Regardless of the warning, the run proceeds as normal with all appropriate classes applied as verified with --debug.
