Hi, I have this: service { bind9: ensure = running, hasrestart = true, pattern = named, require = Package[bind9], } because the process is called 'named'. I think the issue is that you need to have hasstatus in your service definition. That's what Puppet is checking if hasstatus = true is set for the service (usually the default).
