Hi Everyone; I am having a bit of challenge understanding the PuppetDB 1.3 Architecture. When I installed using the packages in the puppet repo, it was difficult for me to determine where the postgres database was installed but, I found that it was installed in /var/lib/puppetdb.
I am a serious newbie to PuppetDb so, please excuse my questions of they are dumb but, any assistance you are willing to provide will be greatly appreciated. 1.) Why is pgsql not running on my server even though puppetdb is running? How is the database being served? 2.)Is it possible to interact with the database via pqsql? Thanks so much for your time!
