Anyway for a low budget and good overall qsuality I suggest you to take some HP gear. D-Link or Netgear are really end-user material, and in a way really buggy and not as affordable as that compared to HP or Dell. The HP 1910-8G Switch. Smart switches only have a web interface which means your only option, should your configuration be screwed, will be to do a hardware reset and the start all over again. If you have a serial interface you will not be locked out. This is like having a VM without console interface and only be able to connect via net.
