Hi Gilberto, I ran into this one yesterday and found this solution on
the forums:

https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/cannot-start-kvm.25085/page-2#post-126837

systemctl stop 126.scope
qm start 126

Where 126 is the VMID

It worked for me.

Not at all!
Still get I/O error...
Funny, because there's nothing indicate any disk I/O failure...
Dmesg, show me nothing.
syslog show me nothing
I will try performe a apt-get dist-upgrade and restart the entire server,
tonight.. ( and screw my pretty 46 days uptime... :/ )

Tomorrow will see it...

Or, if somebody else has better idea, I'll appreciated...

Thanks

Re: [PVE-User] VM Won't start

2016-01-13 Thread Thomas Lamprecht
Did you tried a recreation of the VM? Even if that helps it would be
strange.
Also you can try to run the command from this VM manually, maybe you
have better luck and get a specific error.

Get the command with
# qm showcmd 108
then simply execute the output from the command above in a shell as root.

Hi,

I didn't looked at the entire command if there is an
error/misconfiguration, to tiresome for me.

Can you please also post the VMs config file and maybe some
additional info you have: is this VM special in any sense? did the
VM never work (since creation) or stopped working?

Further, is more information in the log? Please look in the
journal at the time from a failed start. (journalctl)
That info should make it easier to track down the problem and help
you.

cheers,
Thomas

Re: [PVE-User] VM Won't start

2016-01-13 Thread Thomas Lamprecht

Hi,

I didn't looked at the entire command if there is an
error/misconfiguration, to tiresome for me.

Can you please also post the VMs config file and maybe some additional
info you have: is this VM special in any sense? did the VM never work
(since creation) or stopped working?

Further, is more information in the log? Please look in the journal at
the time from a failed start. (journalctl)

That info should make it easier to track down the problem and help you.

cheers,
Thomas
