 if game_mode == player_alive:
 handle_input()
 move_player()
 if player.is_killed():
 if number_of_lives == 0:
I'd change it to, possibly, if player.number_of_lives, but that depends
on the actual game design

That's pretty cool; I'll be interested to see the Source.

I'd love to release the source on this list, Kevin. Just waiting for
clearance from the other boys. I'm having a tough time
explaining what open source means.

That does look very cool, what were the motivations behind the
project? I'd also love to take a look at the source code.

thanks, mark. there's a good description at our website (see below).
I made this while learning Pygame. I'm very interested in DJing like a
magician would. So I'm trying to create interfaces that look mystical
or tantric in nature. That's the motivation. It's not
a very complicated program. The only external you'll need is the
VideoCapture module.

Like I said, I'm just waiting to get clearance to release the actual source.

I would love to have more feedback here
on what Pygamers think!

I got the clearance from my partners. I just want to thank the members
of this list for helping me out during the making of this code. I love it!
Parab0xx made it to Wired, I couldn't ask for more :)

Source zip:

That's the source with all the files. I'd love to hear from anyone on this
list
about their experience. If you do manage to modify it somewhat, I'd love to
know what
you did with it! I'm also happy to answer any queries.

cheers,
