RE: [PyMOL] H-bond drawing?
Hi there, Sorry I'm going to ask probably a very basic question but could anyone tell me how to create H-bonds in pymol? I used SPDB viewer to model the interface between two dimers in a tetrameric molecule. I now need to create some good pictures of this for my thesis as SPDB isn't really good enough. I'd like to represent H-bonds (not bond distances just bonds) e.g between ThrOG1 of subunit A and Asp184OD1 of subunit D. I'm presuming that pymol can do this-if so would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to enter in the command line as I'm afraid I'm not used to it and thesis deadline looms on thurs! [PyMOL] Re Zoom function and Mac osx
Cheers Warren, I shopped around a bit (poor student) and bought a Logitech pilot optical wheel mouse which works fine:-) The only other problem I have is that I don't have an external GUI window on start up of the program (like the one saying "PyMOL Molecular Graphics System" in the manual under "External GUI Windows". In the manual it says in can be enabled or disabled by commands but I confess to not being able to see where to get these. Could anyone help? Thanks again, Claire ******* Claire Sharpe Department of Biochemistry University of Cambridge 80, Tennis Court Road Cambridge. [PyMOL] zoom function and mac osx
This is probably going to be a dumb question but I'm trying to zoom in on an image using a mac but can't (other than typing in "zoom" and zooming in once in an uncontrolled manner). I saw that you've been having a discussion about 3 button mice etc and was wondering if anyone could help? I have to confess to not knowing a great deal about programming/modelling but I do know however that I only have one button on my mouse:-) Is there any way of using this (apple pro mouse) with pymol, and if so would anyone be able to explain it to me (the simpler the better!)? If not is there a mouse I can buy which will do the job-I saw an intellimouse had been mentioned?
