Then it looks like PyQt is not picking up the latest QScintilla. The above 
versions work fine together - there is something wrong with your 
installation.

If you are using QScintilla snapshots then you must also use PyQt3 snapshots.

when I try to build new snapshots I've got this:

sipqtextQextScintillaLexerRuby.h:76: error: 'class 
QextScintillaLexerRuby::IndentationWarning' has not been declared
sipqtextpart0.cpp:1442: error: 'class 
QextScintillaLexerRuby::IndentationWarning' has not been declared
