Sorry, that was a mistake; I should've been using dch --bpo instead of
doing stuff manually. I can fix it if the ftp master rejects them, or I
can just do it the next time the packages are updated.

You versioned your six package "1.6.1-2~bpo70+1", while the version in
testing/unstable is "1.6.1-1". This is unconventional - backports is
supposed to be << testing so that upgrades work properly. Can you make
sure that you get this right for the next time?

I don't mind that much, although it's very little work for me to
maintain the wheezy backport for six as well as the main packaging so
I'd be happy to take it over once the version in testing/unstable
exceeds 1.6.1-2, if that's OK with you.

Re: [Python-modules-team] electrum_1.9.7-1~bpo70+1_i386.changes is NEW

2014-04-05 Thread Andres Salomon
Hi folks,

I backported and uploaded electrum (a lightweight bitcoin client) and
its associated dependencies (six, python-ecdsa, slowaes) to
wheezy-backports. It was a straight-forward backport with no packaging
changes.

If you have any concerns, notice any bugs, would prefer to maintain the
wheezy backport for your packages yourself, etc, just let me know.

binary:python3-ecdsa is NEW.
binary:python-ecdsa is NEW.
source:python-ecdsa is NEW.

Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of
the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the override file about once a week.

[Python-modules-team] Bug#743685: FTBFS: test failures

2014-04-05 Thread Vincent Cheng
Source: urwid
Version: 1.2.1-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

Dear Maintainer,

urwid 1.2.1-1 currently FTBFS on i386 and mipsel according to the buildd [1]
logs. Note that the test suite is now run against all python2 and python3
versions supported in sid (rather than just python2, as was the case with
previous versions of urwid); the test failure on i386 is a new one, and only
happens with python3.

i386 [2]:
