[Python-modules-team] Bug#749321: reverse dependency of python-pypdf and ITP of python-pypdf2

2014-09-18 Thread Elena ``of Valhalla''
I've noticed that the current python-pypdf package has migrated to
PyPDF2 (thus breaking all of its reverse dependencies in sid):
should the updated/converted rev-dep depend on python-pypdf = 1.23-1
or python-pypdf2?

How is this going to be managed?

[Python-modules-team] Bug#749321: reverse dependency of python-pypdf and ITP of python-pypdf2

2014-07-21 Thread Luciano Bello
Just for the record, python-pypdf has to be replace by python-pypdf2 (ITP:
https://bugs.debian.org/719887).

The reverse dependencies of python-pypdf are:

# Broken Depends:
bookletimposer: bookletimposer
kraft: kraft
pdfposter: pdfposter
pdfshuffler: pdfshuffler
pisa: python-pisa
w3af: w3af-console

# Broken Build-Depends:
pdfposter: python-pypdf (= 1.10)
