Re: Collect BVT Status and Continue Call for BVT volunteer

2013-04-24 Thread Li Feng Wang
You can put your Suse and Ubuntu result on wiki.
For Ubuntu error, from your error information, this is not fail case, just
environment is not ready.
You can try to search on google. You may not enter X-Windows on Linux ,
that is you can't pop up GUI windows for test.

All the result about BVT are about BVT case and OO relation function.
Environment not ready should not display on BVT result, this will impact
other volunteer's judge. Thank your.

Hi, all:

In the past month, with the help of many volunteers, we have completed AOO

515 test cases were executed, and 65 defects were opened in bugzilla.

I'm so appreciated for your hard work on this task.

Hope you continue contribute to AOO 4.0 other activities.

Re: Collect BVT Status and Continue Call for BVT volunteer

2013-04-24 Thread alfredo chable torrez
hello team,
I keep insisting on doing BVT in Suse,
and i apply the same steps as for ubuntu but it still shows me this error:

"No protocol specified
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11
window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable."

here in image http://imagebin.org/255187

I would like to finish the test in Suse but this error in the last step did
not let me to finish.

*note: I have already installed the JDK 1.6.0 (http://imagebin.org/255189)

Regars

Re: QA report- bug 118454

2013-04-24 Thread Armin Le Grand

Hi Diego,

On 24.04.2013 00:20, Diego Valle Rosado wrote:

hello all,

I was cheking the bug 118454- insertion of an svg image with link does not
work, https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=118454.

The user say when a SVG image is inserted with option 'link' in a writer
document, is dispalyed, But when the document is saved and reopened the
image is not displayed anymore.
I reproduced this bug and I got the same result, but I don't know if the
problem is the type of image or the url of image.
I would as next step look into the saved file (*.odt). ODF files are
archives (zipped containers), you can open it e.g. with 7Zip (or WinZip,
maybe you first need to change the file extension to *.zip temporarily).
In there is a file called content, open it in an editor, it's ODF XML
format. There you should find the description of the graphic object
somewhere and can check if the link is there or missing.

HTH!
Sincerely,
Armin

What do you think about this bug?

Regards
