[Qgis-developer] Sextante modeler throws a ''NameError: global name 'os' is not defined
I cannot run the modeler in Sextante on a QGIS 1.8 with a Windows 7 - 64 bit. It seems like the issue closed here http://hub.qgis.org/issues/7187, stating: Fixed in master Will this mean that on a W7 64bit one has to wait to the next version of QGIS for the modeler to work? Jakob, more or less, yes :-( The current development version of SEXTANTE includes changes to adapt to the new vector API, which render it incompatible with 1.8. Mantaining a version compatible with 1.8 means extra effort, and there are no plans for that. Re: [Qgis-developer] Sextante modeler throws a ''NameError: global name 'os' is not defined
Hi Jakob, For me modeler worked just fine with 1.0.8 version of Sextante in QGIS 1.8 on Windows. Just download it from http://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/sextante/version/1.0.8/ and replace the version that was installed by Plugin Installer.
