Re: [QGIS-Developer] Fwd: [Qgis-user] Latest development version of QGIS as a .msi standalone installer ?

Nice, I'll work on this on the train back home on Saturday.
Fabiano did some magic css tricks only web developers know about . That
should be nice :)

[QGIS-Developer] Opening the last processing task via script

2022-08-25 Thread DIF
[Intranet logo]
Hi,

I often have to run the same processing task multiple time, but with some
parameters changed. Currently, I must open the History (Processing -> History
or Ctrl-Alt-H) and double-click on the last task. In order to save me... one
click... I was wondering if it was possible to open via a script the last
processing task launched in order to make a tool button. I know that the
history itself is stored in the processing.log file inside the user profile but
don't know how to, if possible at all, open a pre-filled processing window.
Also, I don't want to launch the task with qgis_process.exe because I want to
manually edit some parameters.

I know, I know. All this trouble to save one click... but I'll learn something!
Thanks for any help

[QGIS-Developer] Could the H3 library be included as a core QGIS library

2022-08-25 Thread C Hamilton via QGIS-Developer
A few months ago I was introduced to the H3 (Hexagonal hierarchical
geospatial indexing system) library (https://h3geo.org/) and as a part of
testing it to see its capabilities I included it in my Density Analysis
plugin. The library is blazing fast in creating a hex grid and in doing a
geohash of coordinates if you are doing a vector based heatmap like I
have done in the Density Analysis plugin. I think it would be an asset to
have it as a core QGIS library. Would there be any interest in including it?

Thanks,

Calvin Hamitlon
