Hi, The unknown exception (geos::util::IllegalArgumentException) is thrown when I call any geos function from QgsGeometry (asGeos(), isGeosValid(), isGeosEmpty() ), in Qgis an error message is shown Unknown exception and it crashes. Hi, I have a shape file of lineString that contains an invalid line, when I use info tool, select tool, node tool with this wrong line unknown exception is thrown geos::util::IllegalArgumentException, and crash with simplify geometries, and check geometry validity. The problem appears with vector layers that contain geometries that containing duplicate node(s), it’s considered as an invalid geometry ? When I select all features from the bounding box of the vector layer, lines of features that has a null geometry are not selected in the attribute table (I don’t have a problem with this shapefile).
