Re: [QGIS-Developer] Qml/Quick bundling

2020-02-18 Thread William Kyngesburye
Hmm. I suppose I could bundle at least qml plugins that match Qt frameworks.
Plus others like Charts that make sense. Or all of them, there's not much by
file size.

I don't know about not being accessible. I was looking at qt.conf
possibilities to fix an old crashing problem and found Google Earth's qt.conf
that sets the qml path (Qml2Imports and Imports).

2020-02-16 Thread Matthias Kuhn

Hi,

In the attribute form it's possible to add a QML widget. This pretty
much opens up all the fancy QML things in QGIS, so every QML module
which is installed can be used.

See the original blog post
https://www.opengis.ch/2018/11/06/qml-widgets-qgis/

or video 4 of episode 4 of qgis on the road for an animated version
https://www.opengis.ch/2019/12/12/qgis-on-the-road-episode-4/

I'd at least include the charts module to be able to include those.

I don't think the QgsQuick module is required (or even accessible) from
standalone QGIS.

Does QGIS need any other qml components from Qt? I need to know what, if
anything, needs to be bundled in the QGIS app package for QgsQuick.

Theory of the Universe

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the
universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced
by something even more bizarrely inexplicable. There is another theory which
states that this has already happened.

[QGIS-Developer] Qml/Quick bundling

2020-02-15 Thread William Kyngesburye
I'm finally catching up on my Mac packaging. I noticed a new QgsQuick
plugin/library for qml in Qgis 3.10.
