Hi, great news. Does that mean QGIS 3.4 LTR will continue its life as expected? Or is 3.4.14 the last one? thanks for your lights, we need to communicate quickly if LTR is frozen now. Yes, a unfortunate Unicode minus sign that has been corrected to ASCII minus sign. Definitely a fix that also applies to PROJ 5. Anyway that only affects people playing manually with +init=ITRF2005, which I suspect are only happy fews. Just want to warn in advance that a potential future PROJ 7 that would use grids in GeoTIFF format instead of GTX/NTv2 is something likely, and you will *not* want PROJ 5 to use such grids... But at that time, QGIS 3.4 will be retired hopefully. Thanks. GDAL 2 and prøj 5 are now separate packages - prøj 5 being built statically and shipping with it's own files, although it's actually using the files from prøj 6 at runtime (as that's where also the grids are) - but those are identical except for ITRF2005 where +ds=-0.8 is instead of +ds=-0.08 - and I guess that's a fix). I didn't have time left to test much - spatialite is only there once using prøj 6 and it's used by all GDALs and all QGIS'. Jürgen -- Jürgen E. Fischer norBIT GmbH Tel. +49-4931-918175-31 Dipl.-Inf. Re: [QGIS-Developer] osgeo4w's qgis-dev package broken, proj_7_0.dll missing
Hi Nirvn, Yesterday I saw the update from proj-dev 7.0.0-57 to proj-dev 6.3.0-8 on OSGeo4W. I suspected that it would break QGIS because it was compiled against proj-dev 7.0. So, I didn't proceed with the update. I think it was a good option! :) But I believe that should be fixed in the next build. [QGIS-Developer] osgeo4w's qgis-dev package broken, proj_7_0.dll missing
FYI, the qgis-dev package is currently broken, reporting it can't start because proj_7_0.dll is missing. I think some dll referencing needs updating (proj recently renamed its forthcoming branch to 6.3, and I can see a proj_6_3.dll floating around). ___ QGIS-Developer mailing list QGIS-Developer@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
