Re: [Qgis-developer] Identify with Feature Form on QGIS 2.2

2014-03-03 Thread Pedro Venâncio
Hi,

It was already corrected by Jurgen (thanks!) [0], but a bug like this in the
final release is quite annoying... I also do not know when it was introduced,
because I did not realize it before.

Best regards,

Pedro

shouldn't there be a tag 'backport' tag in the tracker to identify critical
tickets that warrant a backport to stable branch, so if someone has the
time can backport those fixes?

There are going to be a few other bugs, hopefully fixed in 2.2, so
eventually a point release will be worthwhile. With (semi-)automated builds
it's not *that* much trouble I think.

+1

A 2.2.1 could come out after 1 week of no activity in the stable branch after
any activity.

If it takes 4 months to get to that state (ie: nobody pushes a fix for that
or more than one fix a week gets committed weekly) then no 2.2.1 would ever
come out.

The workaround for this is to have the identify dialog docked which will
stop it opening over the top. I have hidden mine behind the browser dock
so it doesn't show up all the time.
