Looking at current status I would say some items could have some love.
Writers and Screendumpers please go wild and help us to have a good
changelog for 2.8 :-)

http://changelog.qgis.org/qgis/version/2.8/

(which is actually)

http://changelog.linfiniti.com/qgis/version/2.8/

When the most items look nice (or when somebody starts yelling 'ready'),
I'll migrate them to the website.

So please add and refine items.

Richard

I think the issue is that only a small number of entries show up in
the "pending entries" list. It looks like it's hard coded to only show
10 or so, and there's no pagination controls to navigate through the
 entries.

 Does that sound correct?

Sidenote: this app has been behaving like this earlier, but we've
managed to get the list before. I created/updated items last version
too, and had problems finding them back later or seem not to be published.

Hi,

I've started adding some screenshots but the system keeps me confused. I
can only see all entries in the version thumbnail view (
http://changelog.linfiniti.com/qgis/version/2.8/thumbs/). The version as
list view (http://changelog.linfiniti.com/qgis/version/2.8/) is empty and
the version entries list (
http://changelog.linfiniti.com/qgis/2.8/entry/list/) shows only a hand full
of entries.

Is it just me?

Best wishes,
Anita

2015-02-08 Thread Nyall Dawson
Hi all,

I've just done a quick trawl through the git changelog for 2.8 and
added shell entries to the visual changelog for noteworthy changes.
(My apologies if I accidentally skipped anything!)

Like for 2.6, these are just rough copy+paste notes from the git
commit messages, so I'm now asking for people to go in and flesh out
these entries to make them suitable for the final version, add
screenshots, etc.

Cheers,

The normal 'plan' is to do it there, and after release I download it as
