Hi Boaz, When you open the dxf in autocad you need to connect to the geographical data of the area of the drawing. In the taskpane there is a data icon. Click on it and choose 'connect to data'. Next add a connection (shapefile or postgres or wms or whatever is available for the area of your drawing. Eventually after entering the correct information for your data (check if CRS is corrrect), click connect, and next 'add to map'. In autocad you will see your shapefile (or other dataprovider) data. Most likely your drawing will not show up but if you zoom out untill you see the x-y cross and zoom overthere that's most likely the place of your drawing. Enter move, select basepoint and move the drawing to the right place. Rotate and scale until your drawing fits in the right place. Save your dxf. Import it in QGIS via the Project menu and it shows up in QGIS in the right place. [Qgis-user] Graphic modeler crashing
Hi, I was trying to re create a model with qgis3 (models made with qgis2 not being supported) when I started getting python error messages. I don't understand them. I finally closed my project and reloaded it again. Now when I try to edit the model, it crashes automatically and I cannot edit it at all. Hi Bernd. You will have to create a raster dem from your contour data. First extract nodes from lines and ensure the elevation field is extracted.Once you have the point data, you can generate a raster using a tin or spline interpretation.The resulting raster should work with the plugin.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Salve, sono incappato in uno dei rari servizi WCS pubblici: http://sit.cittametropolitana.na.it/arcgis/services/DTM_Orca/MapServer/WCSServer? che si comporta in modo davvero strano: * non riconosce l'intervallo di valori reali (circa da 0 a 2000) * carica i dati, in modo apparentemente corretto (lo strumento informazioni sul pixel restituisce i valori adeguati per la quota) * non riesco a far visualizzare niente, anche imponeno una scala di colori adatta all'intervallo di dati presenti. Qualcuno ha idee? Hi Cinda, I cant help diagnose the issue, but I can give you an alternative method of using gdal_polygonize Im assuming you are using this under Windows. Using the OSGeo4W Shell, navigate to the folder containing the dataset and then use gdal_polygonize raster_in.tif -f "ESRI Shapefile" shapefile_out.shp You can alternatively use the full file path also instead of navigating to a specific folder.
