Re: [Qgis-user] mobile gis and geotag on pocketpc?
Hi, Regarding the photo-tagging, there is http://www.carto.net/projects/photoTools/gpsPhoto/ - based on perl. I don't know if your IPaq has Perl? It is a command-line application but easy to use. You'll need a GPX file and synchronized clocks (or you'd need to know the time-offset). So far I only used it for post-processing. I'm running a HP Ipaq hw6515 with windows mobile 2003, and for now I use ESRI Arcpad, but I would like to replace it with some open software. I have found a homepage on GRASS GIS on Handhelds http://grass.itc.it/platforms/grasshandheld.html but the info looks to be 5 years old so I wonder if there are any more recent developments. Also, does any one know if this old Mobile GRASS combined with familiar Linux would run on a hw6515? Apart from an arcpad replacement I'm looking for some open source geotag app to run on the Ipaq. The idea is to collect gps positions on the Ipaq, to tag photos taken by my digital camera (Nikon). thanx / Fafner -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/mobile-gis-and-geotag-on-pocketpc--tp2666829p2666829.html Sent from the qgis-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user -- Andreas Neumann http://www.carto.net/neumann/ http://www.svgopen.org/ ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] bug replication
Hi all. Could anybody confirm this bug: https://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/1485 and possibily provide more detail? I cannot reproduce it on our Debian 64bit boxes. In general, if users could go through the bugs list, and provide additional info on the replicability of bugs, that would be useful. Thanks. -- Paolo Cavallini: http://www.faunalia.it/pc ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] on-the-fly reprojection of raster maps
Jachym, Sorry for the very delayed response. There is no current work regarding on the fly reprojection of rasters. If/when this feature becomes available, I it will be more like a 2.x feature as we really need to rethink the whole raster framework. -pete Jachym Cepicky wrote: Hi, I'm just goint through the QGIS manual and wanted to ask, if there will be support for OTF projection of raster data in upcomming 1.1.x branch? [Qgis-user] no GRASS plugin installed with Qgis
There was no GRASS plugin installed with my Qgis version 1.0.1 install (not listed as a choice in the plugin manager and not present in the plugin folder). Is that because the installer recognized that I already have the Windows version of GRASS 6.3 installed? How do I get it installed? Am I going to have to switch back and forth between them manually? Thanks for any help. Re: [Qgis-user] no GRASS plugin installed with Qgis

I o not have access to that link from work but will try to post it in a reply to this thread later today.
