[Qgis-user] Find group of a layer in Python plugin
I'm sure the answer is right in front of me; I just haven't found it yet: Given a layer, is there any way to find out if the layer is part of a group in the legend, and if so which group -- from inside a Python plugin? As I said before, I don't mind including it at all, however, we cannot guarantee operational support, though we do try to keep it runnable. If I remember right, this was the stumbling point before. No maintainer - no inclusion in trunk. [Qgis-user] unfolding all GRASS commands in one click
Hi all, In the GRASS tools window, I think it would be really useful if there was a button to show all commands at once. Sometimes we're looking for a command to do something we need, but have no idea what such command would be called, and are not even sure about which group (or sub-group) such command should belong to. It's better to see all the available commands (with their visual icons, which can be really helpful) at once, instead of having to go pressing alll the little "+" buttons to unfold each group at a time. Re: [Qgis-user] google layers plugin projection
It does not in my case, if I use a vector on ED50 UTM31 and the project set to a custom projectione defined as +proj=merc +a=6378137 +b=6378137 +lat_ts=0.0 +lon_0=0.0 +x_0=0.0 +y_0=0 +k=1.0 +units=m +nadgri...@null +wktext +no_defs and onthefly activated: the vector is displaced ca. 100m vs the google raster.
