Hi, Has anyone had this error message come up when loading QGIS before? The procedure entry point my_init could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBMYSQL.dll QGIS was working fine, so this must be due to my new installation of XAMPP, which obviously contains MySQL. I'm not sure how I go about fixing this, as I need to use XAMPP. If anyone can help I would be grateful! [Qgis-user] QGIS wms layer with time support
Hi, is there a plugin or functionality available at the moment to make use of the time dimension of a wms (wms-t)? I found the time manager plugin, but that only works for vectors, but more or less has the functionality that would be needed. Thanks for your comments. Re: [Qgis-user] LIBMYSQL.dll procedure entry point my_init not found
First make a back up of LIBMYSQL.dll Then re-install QGIS. It will overwrite LIBMYSQL.dll. Hopefully XAMPP is happy with QGIS version of LIBMYSQL.dll If not, you can copy the backed-up version of XAMPP to the application folder, not to the system-wide one (C:\windows\system32 in WinXP 32 bit). [Qgis-user] Reprojecting
Hi! I'm newbie on QGis and I have to reproject a shape that has the follow prj file: GEOGCS[GCS_South_American_1969,DATUM[D_South_American_1969,SPHEROID[GRS_1967_Truncated,6378160.0,298.25]],PRIMEM[Greenwich,0.0],UNIT[Degree,0.0174532925199433]] To a pure WGS84 projection (EPSG:4326) but the QGis don't know the original projection to set it. Re: [Qgis-user] Reprojecting
Olá Rogerio, be sure that in the vector properties your shape is defined in the EPSG:4618 CRS, then simply click with the right button in the table of contents and choose save as... The dialog will allow you to choose another CRS. If you have problems you can write me in portuguese. Cheers -- Giovanni -- On Fri, 2011-06-10 at 11:46 -0300, Lelo - Luiz Rogério De Pieri wrote: Hi! Re: [Qgis-user] FW: Esri File Geodatabase API Is Now Available
It was on the download page. It clearly said single user, which is why I mentioned it would be similar to how ECW works - the user has to go download the SDK and add the plugin the gdal. But I doubt it says no server since they did Release it for Redhat. But I encourage people to read the details more closely. The disadvantage is that you have to rebuild views and joins, but I think this option is easier and more reliable than others. Great resultsin an unfair contest. My netbook has got more power in it than his QGIS laptop. Plus ... QGIS 1.4 vs. ArcGIS 10 I was always interested in seeing some benchmark results for some of the functions in ESRI products and QGIS/GRASS. But after a bit of a research I did in the past, I found out as a part of their EULA (not sure if they have changed it for ArcGIS 10) you are not allowed to publish your benchmark test runs results!!
