Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS on android final report

2011-08-26 Thread Alex Mandel
You have Android 3.x +? I think that was mentioned in another thread.
Sometimes it's also easier to just download to a desktop and push it
over to the device via usb.

Thanks,
Alex

Rob,

Yeah, I figured out that Firefox didn't know what to do with the APK file. The
built in Browser understodd that it was a package file for installing. I'm
getting to the QGIS install now, I'm hitting a wall with installing the QT
stuff now. Marco is guiding me as he has time . . .

Hi Giovanni, list,

is it possible for the plugin author to create the plugin section as a
subproject of Users Plugins? As now, when I log in I can only add it as
a new project.

thanks for clarification!

I agree, this tool should be core as it is fundamental for any raster analysis.

[Qgis-user] Value Tool and Reproj. On the Fly for raster layers

2011-08-26 Thread Agustin Lobo
Hi!

Value Tool does not work for rasters displayed through Reproj. On the Fly.
Any plans to include this feature? Displaying is good, but actually accessing to
the values is equally important.
Also, considering this is the only tool in QGIS for the interactive
check of raster values,
should not this plugin be considered part of the core?

Marco,

Ok, excuse my ignorance, but what's the best way to install a APK file. I
have it on the machine via FireFox, but if I open the FireFox download
dialog on the Android and click to open the file, I get a "There is a
problem parsing the package." error from Firefox.
