You may want to have a look at the OpenJUMP skeletonizer plugin, if not else then just getting some inspiration. http://sourceforge.net/projects/jump-pilot/files/OpenJUMP_plugins/More%20Plugins/JUMP%20Skeletonizer%20Plugin/ There seems to be an article about skeletonizing with PostGIS http://ageoguy.blogspot.fi/2010/12/squelettisation.html -Jukka Rahkonen- ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Default qml
Hi! I have a large nb of raster layers that I want to open with the same qml Beyond using the useful plugin multiqml, it would be simpler just to save the appropriate qml as the default. The question is, would it be possible to revert to the original default? I have saved the current default style in my working directory just in case, but is there a default qml in the qgis installation that I could just copy and rename to avoid any problem? Perhaps having a button "Restore system default qml" would be useful. Thanks Agus ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

Excel perfect for that because with autofilter you can easily select just exactly the info that you need. Great, I don't know why I never thought about the obvious :) Jake ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] Default qml
Unless I am mistaken "save as default" is only aplied for the current layer, not application-wide. Although perhaps it applies the default style for the project only? I'd be interested in helping out improving the "default styles" management in qgis - for example having transparent instead of opaque polygons by default (i.e. Fill Style = "No brush"). The style manager could be enhanced to include app-wide and project-wide defaults for various layer types - rasters, polygons, points, lines, etc... With a "restore default" option like Agustin suggests. [Qgis-user] error in SAGA grid calculator
hi to all, i can't find a solution of an error that is drivin' me mad. i'm trying to do a simple calculus by means of grid calculator of saga, contained in sextante. most of operations don't give me a result because an error tells me "could not to load layer" followed by the path of grid generated by calculator. please find attached log files of sextante. another question... i didn't understand the meanings of resampling region values in the configuration window of sextante-saga module. in saga gui, resampling is set by "grid system" that must be selected first of any operation among raster. so i thought that this is the way to indicate the reference for creating new layers (extension and cellsize). if it's so, i dont understand the relation between general configuration and "grid system" hope to be clear, sorry for my poor english ciao! http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/file/n4979103/sextante_qgis.log sextante_qgis.log -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/error-in-SAGA-grid-calculator-tp4979103.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
