I like #50 but with slight modification, a globe inside the Q would be
good. The globe designed from #315 is nice to be put inside the Q in
 #50.

[Qgis-user] Error when using SAGA SEXTANTE with QGIS 1.9

2013-04-20 Thread Nyx
Hi everyone, I am trying to use some SAGA function (IDW) using QGIS 1.9
298f0c0 and the SEXTANTE plugin. SAGA 2.1 b3 64bit has already been
installed and the OS is Windows 8.

When I activate SAGA from the SEXTANTE options, I find in the error logs 2
logs of:

Could not load model watersheds.model
ALGORITHM:ftools:export/addgeometrycolumns

Next when I select SAGA's Inverse Distance Weighted function within
Sextante, and use the default values for the parameters, I get an error
popup saying:

Could not load layer
C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Temp\sextante\sagainversedistanceweighted..tif.
Check the SEXTANTE log to look for errors.

In the SEXTANTE logs I find the following logs.

Any ideas how we can get SEXTANTE to work? Thank you!!

Re: [Qgis-user] Error when using SAGA SEXTANTE with QGIS 1.9

2013-04-20 Thread Victor Olaya
Which version of SAGA are you using. It seems that the syntax is
different from the one used by SEXTANTE to call it. SEXTANTE is
adapted to SAGA 2.0.8

run saga_cmd --help on a console to see which version you are running

Cheers
Victor

While I appreciate the concept of #335, I find the colors rather dull.
Printing the logo in greyscale will be problematic due to low contrast.

Re: [Qgis-user] [Qgis-developer] [Qgis-psc] Logo

2013-04-20 Thread Blumentrath, Stefan
Yes, #335 and relatives have a nice concept. I actually like those best so far,
except colours...

Best regards
Stefan

While I appreciate the concept of #335, I find the colors rather dull.
Printing the logo in greyscale will be problematic due to low contrast.

You are right - the #335 is very good. It was not on the list for the

I like #50 but with slight modification, a globe inside the Q would be
good. The globe designed from #315 is nice to be put inside the Q in
 #50.

[Qgis-user] sextante mean shift segmentation issue

2013-04-20 Thread Leon
Hi all, i noticed a little issue: I use Qgis 1.9 on Ubuntu 12.04 and
when i try to use the Otb option mean shift segmentation (large scale,
vector output) in sextante, the created layer is positioned at the top
of the original layer, and it's also reflected.. Is this a bug or it's a
problem on some configuration?

Re: [Qgis-user] Error when using SAGA SEXTANTE with QGIS 1.9

2013-04-20 Thread Nyx
Thank you, it works now. The raster produced via SEXTANTE and the one
produced directly in SAGA appears different, the one via SEXTANTE has many
tiny white spots. Will play around with it and see if I can get them to be
similar.

Now it is working fine...but you are passing a cellsize of 0...that
doesn't make too much sense :-) That's why SAGA cannot produce any

Having 0 as de default value doesn't make much sense, so I have
changed it. Enter a better value there and it should work...

 Cheers
 Victor

 2013/4/20 Nyx nyxy...@gmail.com:
  saga_cmd --v says its SAGA 2.1.0. I've changed to SAGA 2.0.8, saga_cmd
-v shows SAGA 2.0.8 and now I'm getting different errors when trying to
 do
  IDW.
