Hi,
In latest releases of QGIS, there is a button in menu *Settings
OptionsSystem QSettings Reset* that might reset your GUI to its default
status. Try it before removing anything.

 Hi,

Windows key + up arrow could help or turn QGIS on an off. You could also
turn off the toolbar (right click in empty area of the toolbars and you
 should see a menu).

If your GUI is really messed up, you could remove the registry keys for
QGIS. This will reset QGIS to the defaults. Look on the net and you will
 find how to do that.

[Qgis-user] LizMap projects not loading

2014-12-16 Thread Víctor Manuel Herreros Villanueva
Hello,

I'm trying to set up QGIS server + LizMap under Ubuntu 14.04 x64bits
without success.

I'm using the nightly QGIS release 2.7.0 and the stable LizMap 2.9.1
release. Though I've tried other combinations (including QGIS server stable
2.6.0 and LizMap 2.10.0), the result is the same:

Every time I try to load a simple map through LizMap web client, my screen
hangs with the 'Loading map data' pop-up and, in the background, you can
see the message 'SERVICE NON DISPONIBLE'.

Even the sample projects from LizMap (e.g. Montpellier transports) don't
display.

I guess the error is due to some kind of QGIS mapserver missconfiguration,
but the 'REQUEST=GetCapabilities' tests through web browser give possitive
results.

This is the error I get from Apache2 log:

[Qgis-user] Nothing displayed if sizeScaleField is set on the renderer

2014-12-16 Thread Lukas
Hi all

PyQgis question. I'm trying to display magnitudes on a map using pyqgis. I
created a simple QgsVectorLayer that displays a dot at each earthquake
location. This works fine.

I'd like to vary the size of each dot according to each earthquake's
magnitude. I tried the following:

pr = eq_layer.dataProvider()
pr.addAttributes([QgsField('magnitude', QVariant.Double), ...])
...
renderer = self.eq_layer.rendererV2()
renderer.setSizeScaleField('magnitude')

However, as soon as I set the sizeScaleField, the layer stops showing
anything.

What am I missing?

It seems to work with bing and osm and half work with google but not work at
all with most of the others.
I say half work with google as google physical works but google satellite only
shows southern hemisphere.

This is using the web menu in 2.6.1 installed via osgeo4w not the standalone
installer but accepting all the dependencies.
