Hi Reginald,

does the url that you see return a valid json?

if not: fix that (I'm not the author of the plugins but
http://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/connector/ and the versions tab show
that there is just one version (so NO changes)

if you receive a json: can you sent it to this list, as we cannot fire
it ourselves as it is apparently a local server.

[Qgis-user] arcgis connector plugin fails when importing layer

2015-08-06 Thread Reginald Carlier
Hi,

When using the arcgis connector plugin I can connect to my ArcGis Server
services. They show up in the dialoglist.
When I try to import a layer I get an error message:
Laag
http://srvgegis01/ArcGIS/rest/services/basis/MapServer/2/query?where=objectid+%3D+objectid&outfields=*&f=json
is geen geldige laag en kan niet...

Has something changed to the plugin as it used to work?

Greetings,

You should be using 2.8.3 - that includes a fix for the circles issue

Re: [Qgis-user] Display issues after moving from qGIS 2.8 (Wien) to 2.10 (Pisa)

2015-08-06 Thread Bernhard Ströbl

Hi Laurence,

I am afraid with the information provided it is hard for anybody to help
you, as you do not give any information on the problematic layer, e.g.
vector or raster, data source, projection of layer and project etc.
What happens if you create a new project and load the layer into that
(do not use any style). Is it displayed?
I had the following problem in one of my projects when upgrading from
2.8 to 2.10: One layer was drawn on top of the rest (although it was way
down in the layer list and rendering was according to layer list). Maybe
it is that easy.

[Qgis-user] Raster style error

2015-08-06 Thread Firman Hadi
Dear all,

I installed QGIS 2.10 in my Mac yesterday and I found that I couldn’t apply
raster style.
I have created one style for symbolizing land cover map (raster) but when I used
the style (qml) the style was still pseudocolor.

Does anyone experiencing the same problem with me?

Thanks.

The plugins Vector Bender and vectorgeoref should do what you want. You
have to enable experimental plugins to see them.

And maybe the Affine Transformations plugin also works for you.

No, you're supposed to select the primary key. In 2.8.x you also have to
choose from all columns, but first one is preselected. If that happens to be
the primary key, you're fine, but that's not always the case and hence
newer versions force you to actually select it.

[Qgis-user] Announcing the release of QGIS 2.8.3 'Wien'

2015-08-06 Thread Jürgen E . Fischer
QGIS is a user friendly Open Source Geographic Information System
that runs on Linux, Unix, Mac OSX, and Windows.

We are very pleased to announce the point release of QGIS 2.8.3 'Wien'. Wien
is German for 'Vienna' - host city to our developer meet up in November 2009
and again in March 2014.

As point release it contains no new features, but 150 changes to fix bugs (see
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/compare/final-2_8_2...final-2_8_3 for a full
list).

Even when only fixes are added to software they introduce the possibility of
new bugs - if you encounter any problems with this release, please file a
ticket on the QGIS Bug Tracker (http://hub.qgis.org/). Please consult the
existing and closed issues there before filing any new ones.

The source code and binaries for Windows, Debian and Ubuntu are already
available via the large download link on our home page (http://qgis.org/).
More packages will follow as soon as the package maintainers finish their work.
Please revisit the page if your platform is not available yet.

Thanks

We would like to thank the developers, documenters, testers and all the many
folks out there who volunteer their time and effort (or fund people to do so).

[Qgis-user] QGIS 2.10.1 adding PostGIS Views

2015-08-06 Thread Randal Hale

I noticed this on the Linux/Windows version of QGIS (2.10.1).

When adding a view in Postgresql/Postgis (9.3/2.1.3) the primary key
(all views have primary keys) has to be selected and with a single click
it appears. In 2.8.x I can add the view and the Primary key is
automatically displayed. Regular tables add just fine. I've not upgraded
anything on the database end.

There doesn't appear to be any issue with the database manager - just
the 'add PostGIS Tables' Menu.

Bug? Enhancement? Something I need to do differently?

Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04
Postgres 9.3
PostGIS 2.1.3

[Qgis-user] custom projection output in the print composer

2015-08-06 Thread Luca Galuppini
Dear all

i am currently experimenting with this custom CRS:

+proj=utm +zone=32 +datum=WGS84 +units=km +to_meter=1000 +no_defs

it is actually a normal UTM/WGS84 projection, but should output coordinates
in kilometers instead of meters, e.g. 567,000 instead of 567000,000. (the
+to_meter=1000 seems to be optional as it appears that proj4 knows what is
a "km" out of the box)
this custom projection works fine in the test window, but will not work
properly in the print composer: i have set it as CRS for the reticule,
expecting values in the outside frame in kilometers (e.g 567), but still
they are shown in meters (567000).
is it a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Hi,
That value is only good the first time you open the file. Then, a XML is
created and that statistic changes with the display value of the raster.
Don't know why.  The best way is to use gdal info with the processing
tools.

Hi,
when I add a flot raster to qgis canvas, and see the starting property settings,
I see the qgis has populated the min/max for ever band.
But this vales are not corresponding with the results from
gdalinfo raster.tif
So I guess they are calculated with some algorithm.
Is this algorithm knowed ?
Thx,

Re: [Qgis-user] [Qgis-developer] Any working GRASS in QGIS available? - Processing Bug?

2015-08-06 Thread Victor Olaya
A quick (but very relevant) note about GRASS7:

It seems that, in one of the latest changes, I unintentionally left
out a code line where GRASS was actually being called. I was getting a
bit crazy wondering where the error might be and why GRASS7 was not
working in the latest releaseand finally found out that the reason
was that. So, in short, Processing was not running grass when running
a grass7 algorithm.

I have added that line back and it should be fine now.

If you can install the current master version, please test and let me
know if there are any issues or it is working correctly as before.

Regards

After some brief testing, my OSGeoLive 8.5 VM with QGIS 2.6 and
 Processing 2.9.3, GRASS 7 works.

My QGIS 2.8, GRASS 6/7, Processing 2.10.1 does not.

 Both are Ubuntu 14.04 based.

I'm not sure if this is a bug in Processing, or in packaging. I recall
in OSGeoLive 8.5 that we had custom packages with a patch. Note, you can
get those versions for your Ubuntu system from
 https://launchpad.net/~osgeolive/+archive/ubuntu/release-8.5

We freeze a copy of the working versions in our own ppa for long term
 history.

 Thanks,
 Alex
