Re: [Qgis-user] custo module in python console

2015-10-08 Thread Alessandro Pasotti
Hi,

are you sure that you aren't importing the standard python test module?

Try renaming from test.py to mytest.py

2015-10-08 Thread Alessandro Pasotti
I wouldn't say it's really "solved", that's just a workaroud, but there are
no trivial solutions to that longstanding issue: QT engine needs an X
server running for some drawing operations.

Unfortunately the solution outlined here
http://www.itopen.it/qgis-server-setup-notes/
is not yet in the manual: any volunteer?

[Qgis-user] Encoded polyline export - bad file generated

2015-10-08 Thread Ken Walenga
I have used the SAGA plugin DISSOLVE plug-in to create custom territory
boundary files. It creates the resultant dissolved shape file extremely
quickly - can't tell you how much I love that. However, I am finding that
when I use the Encoded Polyline builder tool to export the shape file to a
.csv, there are problems reading and using the .csv file. No matter if I
try to load the file into Excel or read it into QlikView, neither
application is able to successfully process the file. There seem to be
problems with the field delimiters and the columns are all screwed up.
Please advise.
