Re: [Qgis-user] features that represent TWO attributes

2016-05-14 Thread DelazJ
You're welcome, dude...

The best thing is to reply to the list so that everybody is aware of
how/whether your issue has been solved or the workaround found or to have
other inputs that community can benefit from.

Sorry for the multiple times my reply was sent. This is due to a wrong
config on my cell phone that returns a fail on sending although the message
was really sent. Thus it retries to send again, and again (and it goes
every time until I stop it manually, what I did with a little delay
yesterday really noisy).
My apologies again

[Qgis-user] 1:n forms: sorting related tables

2016-05-14 Thread Paolo Cavallini
Hi all,
I have set up a form with a 1 to many relation. I would like to show the
related (many) records sorted by one column: is this possible? Currently
I have to go to the table view, sort by double clicking on column name,
and back to form view. Is there a more streamlined solution?
Thanks.

[Qgis-user] Print composer attribute table sorting + max rows gives odd results

2016-05-14 Thread Anita Graser
Hi,

If a user combines sorting + max rows in an attribute table in Print
Composer, the behavior seems to be:

1. apply the max rows
2. sort whatever is left based on the specified attribute

For example, sorting the airports in QGIS sample data by elevation and
limiting the rows to 5 does not show the five airports with lowest
elevation.

This seems very counter-intuitive to me. Is this a known issue?

Best wishes,
Anita

Re: [Qgis-user] desperately needing help on QGIS server

2016-05-14 Thread Kuan Song
Currently, when I type the following in
firefox:http://localhost:81/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?map=pudong.qgs&SERVICE=WMS&VERSION=1.3&REQUEST=GetProjectSettings
An sensible XML is returned. But if I use
http://localhost:81/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi?map=pudong.qgs&SERVICE=WMSthen
the response is:Output format '' is not
supported in the GetMap request

Could someone teach me to tame the beast? Now that the QGIS server seems
running, which web address would make QGIS server miraculously display in
firefox the QGIS desktop content of a project?
Thanks a million.

[Qgis-user] Raster from qgis to Oruxmaps

2016-05-14 Thread Piotr Kania
Hi, I tried to find out in Oruxmaps forum how to convert geotiff or ecw to
Oruxmaps sqlite format but there was no clear answer, does anyone here know
what's the best workflow to get rasters working in Oruxmaps? I tried starting
from Qtiles plugin but Qgis stopped working all the time, so I assume I should
prepare my ecw rasters...

I stick with Oruxmaps because it has low hardware requirements- it's working
nicesly on my cheap Chinese smartphone, I save all shp files as kml, change
symbology in Google Earth and than use as overlay in Oruxmaps. I can see all
shp attributes, so in some way I have little mobile gis;) ___
