[Qgis-user] Geological Symbols
I have managed to accumulate quite a few geological symbol and pattern svg files and wondered if I can upload them somewhere so we can use the QGIS Resource Sharing plugin? Please advise a suitable location and I can upload them. Re: [Qgis-user] Plotting Geological Symbols
If you interested In tuscany website is available a package with qgis project dataset and of course the svg. You could see how use them in that qgis project. Hope this help. Re: [Qgis-user] Qgis 2.16.1 crashes when opening a processing tool (Ubuntu)
Hi Stéphane, did you already try to backup and remove your .qgis2 folder and QGIS2.conf in .config ? By this, you have real clean install. I also had several issues when upgrading from 2.14 and this solved some. If everything is fine afterwards, you could copy back your plugins manually and restore saved connections etc. from the config file Good luck Bernd Am 20.08.2016, 06:20 Uhr, schrieb Stéphane Henriod : PS: additional info: I just downgraded Qgis to 2.14 LTS, and the processing tools seem to now work but i would be happy to use the >last version if possible :-) Any hint welcome! Re: [Qgis-user] drawing transport networks sharing lines
Thanks guys that is wonderful. As in all things the options to do what you want is sort of buried in Qgis and once you know that its there you wind up kicking your for not spotting it before. As you say Style,, click on the lowest level of your line and the details for the line appear including Offset option, I had just been looking at the the top options. If you don’t have vertical order control, you m,ight be able to get away with some level of opacity applied to each trail in order to see through to the next line type. bobb On Aug 18, 2016, at 12:20 PM, dave.po...@pinan.co.uk (mailto:dave.po...@pinan.co.uk) wrote: I am trying to draw a transport network within qgis, sometimes two network links share same path with the result the qigs draw each link on top of each other. Hi Grant. it would be nice to have a geological toolbox, with a more complete implementation of symbols and data structures. Recent work by Akbar https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-developer/2016-August/044117.html could help a lot in this.
