Re: [Qgis-user] Melbourne training

2017-05-18 Thread Phil (The Geek) Wyatt
There are a few I think

http://mapsolutions.com.au/training/qgis.aspx

There are also hundreds of videos online for most of the basic (and quite a few
of the advanced functions) if you are so inclined

These folks don't look all that active but might be worth a try (at least they
have the latest logo!)

Hi,

Look at the network tab in developer tools of your browser. You'll get
all the requests and their content.

Give us the link to the online map if don't find the data.

[Qgis-user] Remember window positions when reopening qgis session

2017-05-18 Thread hilpers
Hello everyone,

I wonder if it is somehow possible within a QGIS session to make the project
to remember which plugin windows and attribute tables are open when closing
a QGIS Project. My goal is that QGIS remembers which modules were open when
I closed and saved a project and thus remembers which attribute tables,
plugin windows haveto be opened automatically and at the correct positions

Does anyone know how I can find and extract source data that is populating an

attribute table does not seem to work. This problem was not present in
 my
previously installed version (2.18.6), nor in another machine I use
 (QGIS
2.14.2, Windows 7) using the same data. I wonder if any other users are
experiencing this in 2.18.7, or there is just something wrong with my
 particular installation.

 Hernán

Re: [Qgis-user] Moving selected feature to the top of attribute table does not seem to work in 2.18.7

2017-05-18 Thread Luigi Pirelli
Can you try to compile from this source code branch?
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/tree/release-2_18
just to be sure that the issue has completly fixed.

2017-05-18 Thread Hernán De Angelis
Thank you for your fast response, Luigi.

I understand. I can wait for the next release, no problem. As for the
question, I will have a look and come back with whatever I
find, but when I found this I wasn't working on any particular project nor
using composer either.

Cheers

[Qgis-user] modeler: r.mapcalc doesn't include an existing layer

2017-05-18 Thread frippe12573
Hi all,

I'm using QGIS 2.18.7 3b30e6a, installed by package on my ubuntu 17.04.
I'm preparing a process of computation by using the processing modeler.
This process includes 3 raster layer, one of these 3 is the result from a
previous
computation that runs in the same model. I would like to use this resulting
layer
together the others two in r.mapcalc available in GRASS GIS 7 commands.
The problem is that when I choose the input layer I have not the layer from
the previous computation.
I want add that it happens the same if I add a r.recode GRASS GIS /
commands.
It doesn't allow to choose the last layer computed (in the same model).
Is that right? Is that a bug? Is there any workaround?
Any hints?

kind regards

Eugenio

2017-05-18 Thread Luigi Pirelli
fixed during the hackfest on current 2.18 code (you have to wait for
2.18.8... or update to the latest 2.18 code not the tagged release
version)
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/4306
and 3.0
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/

btw there are some simple workaround to fix temporarly waiting the patch release

workaround 1) in the attribute table, apply a sort on some column =>
apply sortOnTop
workaround 2) in your project xml file you should have a tag as:

in your case is something different from 0 (Ascending) or
1 (Descending)... fix it and sortOnTop will be back :)
btw, pelase let me knwo what value is in , because is not
clear who's set it to a strange value (probably the composer)

cheers

[Qgis-user] Moving selected feature to the top of attribute table does not seem to work in 2.18.7

2017-05-18 Thread Hernán De Angelis
Hi

Yesterday I compiled from source QGIS 2.18.7 in openSUSE Leap 42.2 Linux.
Everything went fine and there were no problems with the compilation.
However, when using the new installation I realized that the function that
allows to move the attribute row of a selected feature to the top of the
attribute table does not seem to work. This problem was not present in my
previously installed version (2.18.6), nor in another machine I use (QGIS
2.14.2, Windows 7) using the same data. I wonder if any other users are
experiencing this in 2.18.7, or there is just something wrong with my
particular installation.

Hernán
