2017-07-31 Thread Julien Guilloux

Thanks - that fixed it.

I was not aware of the different SAGA versions available - until now I have
just let OSGeo4W install the default and it seems like having been SAGA
2.1.2-2

Re: [Qgis-user] features visible in attribute table but not identifiable

2017-07-31 Thread Reginald
I checked de validity of the features and a couple of them turned out not
valid, altough those where not the features that didn't show up. When I
changed the CRS to match with the other layers in the project all the
features showed up and where styled correctly.

[Qgis-user] How to export online content in QGIS print composer into static formats for offline use (eg: PNG, PDF)

2017-07-31 Thread Carlos Cámara
Hello,

This is my first message to this mailing list, so let me introduce myself:
I'm Carlos Cámara and I have been a casual QGIS user from some time now,
but I'd like to learn more about it.

I'm writing because I have a question related to a map in which I use
online content (most specifically font awesome icons) which does not get
exported to PDF, PNG or so.

Currently, I have a print composer layout which, amongst other things, has
a HTML frame with the following code:

https://use.fontawesome.com/27c6690f63.js";>

  URL
  URL
  URL

This frame shows up fine on the screen after a short loading time (at
least, most of the time, as from time to time it doesn't load and, hence,
becomes empty), but my problem arises when I want to export all the atlas
features using that frame into PNGs (or PDF, doesn't matter): everything is
exported but that particular frame. I am assuming it may be due to a
timeout or that it takes more time to load font awesome than the time QGIS
takes in exporting, so my question is: Is there a way to prevent this from
happening?

Regards,

Carlos Cámara

[Qgis-user] Introducing GIS Water-Utilities Company Discussion Blog

2017-07-31 Thread iqnaulhaq
Hi all,

I’d like to introduce you to a GIS Water-supply Discussion Blog, this blog’s
member are PDAM’s (water utilities company in Indonesia) staff who have
interest and capability on GIS. Most of these PDAMs are using QGIS as their
main GIS desktop software. This blog was initiated by IUWASH program (a
USAID-funded project). Since 2011 IUWASH gave basic GIS training for PDAMs and
facilitate GIS spatial-database development of their pipeline network, and
customer. PDAMs as water-utility company get GIS benefits for their asset
management, planning, improving their services, and so on.

This blog is 2-years old, still new and we encourage the members to share any
issue, new tricks on QGIS, or tutorials. Feel free to visit and subscribe to
this blog by click this address: https://belajargisbersamaiuwash.wordpress.com/

If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know 😊

Thanks all!

Warm regards
