[Qgis-user] Search overall several layers

Good morning

 

i have several layers in attribute tables over them i would like to run a

serach for a specific ID. I.e. to find in which of this tables the feature

with this given ID is saved.

Is there an easy way to do this by standard tools from QGIS GUI?

Ciao,
1) l'allineamento dei caratteri va definito in formattazione, dove trovi
centro, destra e sinistra;
2) delimeter_string serve, appunto, per definire un delimitatore: es:
viva_QGIS
se utilizziassi come delimitatore '_' otterresti viva QGIS in due righe, una
sopra altra;
3) non ho capito la domanda ;-(

1) Volevo segnalarvi una curiosità in merito alla funzione wordwrap di
Calcolatore di campi. Avevo la necessità di mandare "a capo" le etichette
dei nomi dei Comuni con nome composito troppo lungo (faccio un esempio di
fantasia: San Giovanni Decollato di Cima Alta). Ho usato la funzione
wordwrap di Calcolatore di campi. Con la versione 2.18, le righe "a
capo" delle etichette mi vengono allineate a destra (inguardabili) mentre
con la 2.99 mi vengono allineate a sinistra (belle).
2) Ho fatto un po' di tentativi "random" ma, fino ad ora, non ho proprio
capito come applicare, come funziona e a cosa serve l'opzione

No no, vietato tradurre in automatico.
Attenzione massima alla coerenza tra tutti i menu e qualche libertà
linguistica se necessaria per chiarire meglio il concetto.

Anticipo qua che ho quasi finito di tradurre la 2.18 nella quale  più  di
4000 stringhe sono ancora in inglese.
Conto di terminare prima che la 2.18 diventi LTR così avremo 2.18 e 3
interamente in italiano e soprattutto coerenti

[QGIS-it-user] Traduttori della versione 3.x

Stavo pregustando, nella 2.99, quello che sarà l'Help del Calcolatori di
campi nella versione 3.x. Devo fare un megacomplimento sentito e sincero ai
traduttori perchè non si sono limitati ad una mera e fredda traduzione
dell'Help, stile Traslate di Google, ma hanno aggiunto commenti e dettagli
molto utili a far capire la funzionalità delle varie funzioni (scusate il
gioco di parole). Bravi.

ho visto che scritto male la funzione, non devi mettere apici e devi usare
la funzione $geometry.

reverse($geometry)

Uh, from my point of view that's a pretty bad usability. Since
it's not possible to store selections, I would need to destroy
my manual selection when I want to run it on the whole layer, but
use the selection afterwards :)

A selection in a dialog would be much more flexible.
Is there a way to get it back?

grazie come sempre per la risposta, ho provato ma non mi riesce,
evidentemente sbaglio qualcosa.
Ho selezionato la geometria, aperto il calcolatore di campi e inserito
l'espressione, in anteprima sembra funzionare, ma dopo l'ok non aggiorna la
geometria. Ho dimenticato qualcosa? Devo creare un campo virtuale specifico
prima ?

Hi,
It might be because there's a "use selected features only" option under
Processing --> Options --> General. Default behavior is to use selected
features if there are otherwise the whole layer is processed.

It doesn't appear in latest QGIS2... Right now, you need to copy the
selection to a temporary layer and use this one for geoprocessing...

Ciao,
quasi tutti i plugin appiattiscono le geometrie.

Ho fatto un test e sembra funzionare:
tra le funzioni geometriche del calcolatore di campi c'è la funzione
'reverse (geom)'; 
questa funzione la puoi usare sia per una semplice tematizzazione sia per
cambiare realmente il verso delle linee, in questo caso dal calcolatore di
campi devi aggiornale la geometria.

Buon pomeriggio a tutti,
qualcuno di voi ha fatto esperienze con il plugin Swap Vector Direction ? 
Il plugin che permette di invertire il senso della direzione dei vettori,
funziona apparentemente bene e fa il suo lavoro di inversione, ma se si ha a
che fare con vettori 3D, dopo l'inversione della direzione del vettore,
l'elemento da tridimensionale passa a bidimensionale. Qualcuno di voi
conosce un'alternativa a questo plugin che eviti di spiattelare la z a zero
?

When I run QGIS courses I always teach students how to use the Overview Panel. 
Whether they ever use it after completing the course I don't know.

Hi Richard,

basically I think an 'Overview Panel' is very useful, if you zoom in the map 
greatly. However, for a better use I wished more configuration options:
- define background Map which will be drawn with full extent for better 
orientation
- minimize or maximize the red rectangle to change map scale

In its present form the 'Overview Panel' is limited in use.

[Qgis-user] Creating Singleparts from Multiparts: Lines are being cut when self intersecting

Hello everyone,

for an analysis of bird movements, I need to count every line within a 
vector grid.


I have a line layer (with self-intersecting lines) and a vector grid. 
Now I want to count the lines in each raster. First I split the lines by 
intersecting the line layer with the vector grid.


Second, I need to do a multipart to singlepart for the lines because I 
want to count each line for each grid individually.


Now here is the problem: The lines are intersecting itself and at every 
intersection, the multipart-to-singlepart tool makes new parts of the 
lines. If I then count the lines within a grid, the result is too high 
because of the parts of the same line which were counted.


How can I avoid this, are there other workarounds?

I hadn't noticed it before and when I went to try it out it seemed very
clunky to use. But having a minimap does seem useful. Maybe the add and
remove layers options should be controled from within the pane itself,
not in the menu?
