Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS Live GPS Tracking Settings (QGIS 2.14)

2018-10-24 Thread Phil Wyatt
Hi Malhar,

No, I don’t believe there are any ways to edit the GPS information as per your
requests. If these features are a high priority for you then maybe consider
supporting a developer to make some changes to the base code to allow changes
to the GPS and the trail. I suspect Lat/Lon is the standard for most GPS’s but
again a developer may be able to set options for other NMEA sentences.

Cheers - Phil

Subject: [Qgis-user] QGIS Live GPS Tracking Settings (QGIS 2.14)

Hello all,

I am currently using the QGIS (2.14) live GPS tracker for a project. I have a
few questions regarding the settings for the live tracking feature.

1) Is there a way to change the latitude and longitude units from decimal
degrees to degrees and decimal minutes in the "GPS Information Panel?"

2) Is there a way to change the symbol of a cross within a circle to an
airplane?

3) Is there a way to change the trail of the aircraft so it only shows the
previous 10 minutes of flight, yet have the log file show the entire flight
route?

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,

Malhar

Re: [Qgis-user] Classification in R (Off Topic)

The most appropriate forum would be:

__
r-h...@r-project.org mailing list -- To
UNSUBSCRIBE and more, see
https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help
PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html
and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.

The help page (in R) should give some indication of what "OOB" means, or
perhaps provides references that will (I myself do not know).

Hello, this is not the right forum, but I appeal to the community:

I made a process using R, changing only inputs and outputs to generate a
supervised classification and gives me the following data at the end:

Calculating random forest object
Starting predictions
#
OOB error rate estimate
0.007407407%

Confusion matrix
1 2 3 4 class.error
1 101 0 0 0 0.0
2 0 101 0 0 0.0
3 0 0 101 1 0.009803922
4 0 1 1 99 0.019801980

Hello, this is not the right forum, but I appeal to the community:

I made a process using R, changing only inputs and outputs to generate a
supervised classification and gives me the following data at the end:

So: 1. What does OOB mean in itself? 2. In what range or interval should the
OOB value be so that the prediction is better?

Thank you

Re: [Qgis-user] 3d viewer

2018-10-24 Thread Saber Razmjooei
Hi Emanuele, list,

The reason why you won't be able to see your data in 3D map, is because
your data are not 3d!

For Emanuele problem:
- Buildings are not 3d polygons. You can use extrusion and height settings
(if they are available from the attribute table) to fake the 3d buildings.
- Points were not 3d points either. There is an attribute containing Z
value. You can run "Set Z value" function to generate the 3d points using
the Z column.

Once you have done those adjustments, you can create the 3D map.

Hope that helps other. But as Andreas mentioned, 3D is new and we are
aiming to add more features. Please also help with documentation so others
can use the features.

Kind regards
Saber

[Qgis-user] QGIS Live GPS Tracking Settings (QGIS 2.14)

2018-10-24 Thread malhar
 Hello all,

I am currently using the QGIS (2.14) live GPS tracker for a project. I have
a few questions regarding the settings for the live tracking feature.

Sincerely,

I have had similar 3D viewing problems. I would recommend you try the
QGIS2Threejs plugin. It works there, just right click the vector layer in
view window and specify which field has the z values. Happy to discuss
further by email (box...@iinet.net.au ).
