Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS 3.xx not starting

2020-12-20 Thread Ujaval Gandhi
One of the original suggestions was to disable / uninstall your anti-virus
and try launching qgis. Did you try that? From your description it looks
like Quickheal might be interfering with qgis. Qgis has other dependencies
on python, qt etc so merely allowing qgis may not be enough.

Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS 3.xx not starting

2020-12-20 Thread K R Mayani
As one suggestion came from other source, I have tried opening QGIS with
firewall off. So I tried to add .exes of python, qgis ltr, qgis in allowed
program in QuickHeal, as its installed and managed firewall, but did not
start.
So that strike me another idea. And I started the program in safe boot mode
with network in windows 10. Surprisingly the program ran normally without
crashing.
So can anyone give me any idea, what went wrong in normal boot mode?
Because in safe boot, OS does not allow to connect through wifi and I, had
to, mostly work with wifi.

Re: [Qgis-user] Unable to import name NUMPY_MKL for Scipy Point Clustering Plugin

2020-12-20 Thread Nicolas Cadieux

Hi,

Problem could be related to this post: https://issues.qgis.org/issues/21161

It has no solution then to downgrade the python-scipy library from
0.19.0-1 to 0.14.0-1.  The post ends with the bottom line that Qgis 2.18
in no longer supported...

This post may have more info.

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37267399/importerror-cannot-import-name-numpy-mkl

"This problem can be easy solved by installation for numpy+mkl from whl
file from here ."

To install a whl, I would look at this.

https://pip.pypa.io/en/latest/user_guide/#installing-from-wheels

The python 2.7 distribution should be somewhere in the directory with QGIS.

I think the best would be to install a new supported version of QGIS and
then find a plugin that does what you need. (perhaps
https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/clusterpoints/ ???) Your work should
upgrade to

Version 3.10.12 LTR

Good luck

Anybody else got an idea?

Nicolas

Re: [Qgis-user] Unable to install Scipy Point Clustering Plugin

2020-12-20 Thread Nicolas Cadieux
Hi,

Looks like the plugin is having difficulty loading the NUMPY_MKL library. I
would contact the maker of the plugin or find another plugin that does the same
thing but using a new version of QGIS. QGIS 2.18 is quite old and not
maintained. The pluGin is also flagged as experimental. I would start new
email asking for help on what you need to do and ask how to do it.

You could try installing version 0.1 of the plugin.

https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/ScipyPointClustering/

If you are good in python, you could alway try to figure out why the library is
not available add try to install it yourself. Looks like as import problem so
that would indicate Numpy mkl is not installed.

Re: [QGIS-it-user] Informazioni dati raster

2020-12-20 Thread Silvia Franceschi
Ciao Ernesto,

Buona domenica

Hi,

Are you sure the WMS layer is the reason for your problem? If so, you
could try to generate a mbtile (toolbox) for your area from this WMS
layer, and then use the mbtile as background and switch the WMS off.

Cheers,

Bernd

Re: [QGIS-it-user] Informazioni dati raster

2020-12-20 Thread Ernesto Sferlazza
Qgis "Creazione vettore";

1-(y( $geometry)- maximum( y( $geometry)))/ bounds_height( $geometry)

Est:
1+(x( $geometry)- minimum( x( $geometry)))/ bounds_width( $geometry)

Buongiorno,

imbestialire?

[Qgis-user] Auto-Find on unavailable layers?

2020-12-20 Thread Mats Elfström
Hi!
QGIS 3.14.16

What is this option supposed to do?

All I get is a small, empty dialog which goes into a not responding state.
QGIS then needs to be shot down.
The missing layer is a shape file which I have moved from one location into
the QGIS current project (Home) folder. So finding it should be easy.
As it is if I choose Browse instead.
