Re: [Qgis-user] excel file with lat long

2021-11-16 Thread Garth Fletcher
Be careful if you are using "DMS" format (42º17'35.123'') to use the
right symbols.
In my experience, using Mac OS X, option-zero for the degree symbol is
accepted, but option-k, which also makes a degree symbol, is not.
Similarly, "smart quotes", i.e., those which tilt, are rejected for
minutes, as are double quotes for seconds.

As long as you use the right symbols it works perfectly.  Of course if
you are using decimal degrees (42.123456) there is no problem.

Re: [Qgis-user] excel file with lat long

2021-11-16 Thread Roland Spielhofer
You could install the "Spreadsheet Layers" plugin.

"This plugin adds a "Add spreadsheet layer" entry in "Layer" / "Add new Layer" menu and a corresponding button in the "Layers" toolbar.
These two links open the same dialog to load a layer from a spreadsheet file (*.ods, *.xls, *.xlsx) with some options (use header at first line, ignore some rows and optionally load geometry from x and y fields)."

Drag and drop the Excel file to QGIS. Then use the “ Points layer from
table” tool from the Processing Toolbox to create a point layer from it.

Re: [Qgis-user] Print composer issue - QGis 3.22.00

Yes, but the error is also present if using only local raster files. So, the
error is there no matter what type of raster I use (local or streaming).
Simply disable label masking and the error resolves itself.

To date, I have had no feedback as to confirmation of a bug or because of my

While not a show stopper, it is extremely annoying and seems to be a worse
problem in 3.22 than it was in 3.20. By that I mean the misalignment seems
worse. In V3.20 zooming the layout to 100% seemed to fix the screen
misalignment, in 3.22 it does not.

Questions:

Are you using label masks? If you disable them does your problem disappear?

Even though the display is not aligned, does printing or exporting an image
produce correctly aligned output?

Cheers

[QGIS-it-user] simbologia tramite regole - layout - legenda - regola "ELSE"

2021-11-16 Thread Mirco Cramer

una stringa per 4 categorie "colore1", "colore2", ecc);
- Passate a simbologia "Tramite Regole" e lasciate solo 1-2 categorie
stesso modo il resto delle categorie;
magari variando soltanto la dimensione del simbolo per il range impostato;

nell'esposizione.
Grazie per l'attenzione.

Mirco

as far as the re-ordering of xml elements, I had a similar question about
version control a while ago and Alexandre Neto helpfully suggested using this

Hope it helps and thanks again to Alex for the original suggestion.

The version is "3.16.0-Hannover" for all the users.

The reason I’m asking is that the files are in source control and given it is

2021-11-16 Thread Peter Petrik
Hi on macOS (official installer) we use the python bundled inside the
QGIS.app. Unfortunately Mac El Capitan 10.11.6 is not supported, and the
python support starts at macOS 10.13.x

Kind regards,
Peter

[QGIS-it-user] Dubbi sull'uso rasterlite

2021-11-16 Thread Giuliano Curti
Cari amici,
avuto (e mi ha riportato allo stato di niubbo :-);

i dubbi riguardano in particolare rasterlite (ho cercato prima in

dall'amato QGIS, ma vi seguo sempre con piacere e interesse;
nell'occasione, vi invio un cordialissimo saluto,
Giuliano

[Qgis-user] QGIS LTR 3.16.13 reverted to 3.16.11

2021-11-16 Thread Marco Bernasocchi
Dear community,
Due to some rather severe issues in the 3.16.13 and .12 Windows MSI
installers, we decided to temporarily revert back [0] the available
download to the latest release without those issues, 3.16.11. The website
rebuild has been performed and you'll see everywhere that 3.16.11 is the
latest LTR. This is true for Windows only as other OS will keep delivering
the latest 3.16.13.

Next Friday 19th November is the planned release date for 3.16.14 which
should bring fixes to both the above mentioned issues and restore the
normal release flow.

Quoting our release manager Jürgen Fischer:
"Only the 3.16.13 MSI is broken (not sure if 3.16.12-2 is affected).
 OSGeo4W
v2 was meanwhile fixed. All other platforms are not affected at all. The
next release is on friday and will also produce a fresh MSI."

We apologise for the inconvenience and would like to take the opportunity
to remind you how much work goes into producing and maintaining the high
quality product that you've grown to love and that this is only possible
thanks to our sustaining members and volunteers.
If you or your organisation is relying on QGIS, it might be a good time to
consider joining QGIS' funding effort at https://qgis.org/funding or
https://github.com/sponsors/qgis/

Have a great week, cheers
Marco

[Qgis-user] QGIS 3 and Pyhton 3 trouble

2021-11-16 Thread bdrive
Hello,

i have trouble with installing QGIS 3.0.

I have a Mac El Capitan 10.11.6 and I like to use QGIS 3.0.

I installed Python 3.6.for that but when I try to install QGIS 3.0 it says that Python 3.6 is required. So I´m not able to install QGIS. I don´t understadn the problem because i already installed Python 3.6.

Could anybody help?

After installing Python 3.6 do I have to do anything further with that? Maybe I missed a command or someting?

Thank you

Carolin
