Re: [Qgis-user] Model Designer - GDAL - Vector Conversion

2022-03-14 Thread Johanna Botman via Qgis-user
Thank you for the follow up, Nicolas,

I’ll spend a little more time on learning to insert that ID column. I tried the
Convert to Geopackage and then to TAB files, but that was not satisfactory. The
ID column was still missing

Hi,
To my knowledge, the tab file does not need a FID column to work. I may be
wrong but a geopackage must have a FID column. I am sure you could create that
field afterwards in the model or create a geopackage and then a tab file.

I am trying to use the Model Designer to automate the creation of Tab files
from SQL Database Tables.

I am using GDAL – Vector Conversion – Convert format

The resulting Tab file is missing the Primary Key field.

If use that same algorithm to export to a Geopackage, the PK is there.

I know that I can right click the SQL Table and select Export. That Tab file
contains the PK. I need to export 30 tables so am looking for some automation.

Why does the algorithm produce a table without the key field?

2022-03-14 Thread Andrea Giudiceandrea via Qgis-user
*Uwe Fischer*gisfisch at t-online.de

/Mon Mar 14 10:03:48 PDT 2022/

Is there information about when it will be fixed?

Hi Uwe,
as previously written by Totò Fiandaca, the bug has been already
allegedly fixed, so the fix will be available in QGIS 3.22.5 and QGIS
3.24.1 that will be released starting from March 18th (as for the QGIS
Road Map).
If you are using the OSGeo4W builds, the fix should be already available
in the current qgis-ltr-dev 3.22.4-74-459e8682-1, qgis-rel-dev
3.24.0-149-b8595236-1 and qgis-dev 3.25.0-193-9b427c665f-1 packages.

[Qgis-user] Register postgis layer using postgres service file on qgis server plugin problem

2022-03-14 Thread Marcos Roberto via Qgis-user
Hello,

I am trying to add a new postgis layer to Qgis project using a server
plugin, if I use a connection string with "host, dbname, passwd, user" it
works flawlessly.
But I need to use pg_service file, it does not work. I thought it could be
FCGI not passing PGSERVICEFILE envvar, but it actually does. My function
register_postgis_layer simple doesn't work inside executeRequest, but it
works on ProjectService.__init__;
I tried using psycopg2 with service connection string, and it has the same
problem.

Here is sample code from my qgis server plugin.

from qgis.server import QgsService, QgsServerRequest
from qgis.core import QgsMessageLog, QgsProject,
QgsDataSourceUri, QgsVectorLayer, QgsMapLayer, QgsWkbTypes
import os

PROJECT_SQL_FILTER = 'is_deleted=false'
PROJECT_SERVICE = 'PROJECT_SERVICE'

# This works
PG_CONNECTION = f"host=localhost dbname=BDGEO user=postgres password=123456"

# This does not work
PG_CONNECTION = f"SERVICE={service}"

def register_postgis_layer(table_name):
uri = QgsDataSourceUri()
uri.setEncodedUri(PG_CONNECTION)
uri.setDataSource ("public", table_name, "geom", PROJECT_SQL_FILTER)
vlayer = QgsVectorLayer(uri .uri(False), table_name, "postgres")

qgs_project = QgsProject.instance()
qgs_project.addMapLayer(vlayer)
qgs_project.write()
return True

class ProjectService(QgsService):

def __init__(self):
QgsService.__init__(self)

def name(self):
return "PROJECTCTL"

def version(self):
return "1.0.0"

def executeRequest(self, request, response, project):
params = request.parameters()
QgsMessageLog.logMessage(params.get('REQUEST'))

try:
requestMethod = params.get('REQUEST', '').upper()
if requestMethod == 'REGISTERLAYER':
layers = get_available_layers_for_register()
layer_to_register = params.get('LAYER', '')
if register_postgis_layer(layer_to_register):
response.write(f'Layer {layer_to_register} registered!')
response.setStatusCode(200)
else:
response.write(f'Layer {layer_to_register} not
registered!')
response.setStatusCode(400)
return

Ciao,
per questo caso semplice basta utilizzare la funzione replace [0] in questo
modo:

replace('4525 L2 C5 31.5',' ','-') restituisce '4525-L2-C5-31.5'

per farlo su tutto l'attributo, scrivere:

replace('nomeCampo',' ','-')

thanks for the information. Are there more such known traps in 3.22? Could be a

Is there information about when it will be fixed? Was hoping a ‚LTR‘ is free of

[QGIS-it-user] Tabella attributi-convertire spazi

2022-03-14 Thread Roberto Brazzelli
Ciao a tutti,
trattino o altro...

grazie
Roberto

[Qgis-user] Sorting attribute columns in 3.22

2022-03-14 Thread Uwe Fischer via Qgis-user
Hello List,

sorting attribute columns does not work like before in 3.22. In the manual, it
reads that you can sort by clicking the column header, but that has no effect
in my case. What am I doing wrong? There is a small black sorting arrow on the
almost left column, but I need to sort by other columns, too.

Best regards and thanks , Uwe

[Qgis-user] Support for OGC API - Records in MetaSearch

2022-03-14 Thread Collombin Maxime via Qgis-user
Dear all,

I’ve been trying to access OGC API - Records
through the MetaSearch Catalog of the latest release of QGIS (QGIS 3.24
‘Tisler’) but
I ended up with an issue.
While I can get consistent responses from the service description and the API,
I can't load the associated information.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

The endpoint I am trying to access is:
https://demo.pygeoapi.io/master/collections/dutch-metadata

I’m on Windows 10 using a version 3.24 of QGIS with OWSLib 0.25.0.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Yes, of course, you are right. I should have written: "mainly in English".
