Il problema l'avevo già riscontrato ai primi di dicembre 2022, Non ricordo
quale versione stessi utilizzando allora, ma, forse a seguito di qualche
aggiornamento avevo superato. Da un po' di tempo intendo che il problema mi
si è  riproposto da circa 15 gg, sia con la versione 3.28.2 che con la
3.28.3 che ho scaricato la scorsa settimana.

Ho seguito comunque il tuo consiglio ed ho accertato che il problema non mi
ricompare. A questo punto credo sia riconducibile a qualche plugins che sto
utilizzando nell'ultimo periodo. Di conseguenza farò delle prove con il
nuovo profilo allo scopo di individuare con quale plugins può interferire.

Hi Alessandro,
in the macOS section of the QGIS website Download page there is the 
following note:
"macOS High Sierra (10.13) or newer is required. QGIS is not yet 
notarized as required by macOS Catalina (10.15) security rules. On first 
launch, please right-click on the QGIS app icon, hold down the Option 
key, then choose Open."


Anyway it seems those instructions are not correct. See the previous 
thread about the same topic [1] and one of the issue reports about macOS 
installation on qgis/QGIS [2] and the issue report on qgis/QGIS-Website 
[3] filed by me.

That would be an excellent improvement as there have been frequent 
questions about Mac OS X "refusing" to run QGIS (an other wonderful 
applications).

A good problem report should include the OS X version you are using.
I'm guessing that on a 2016 Mac you may be using OS X 10.13 (High Sierra) or

You only have to give permission once (for a given app); there are 2 ways:
1) control-click on the application and select Open, or
2) right after having plain clicked and gotten the refusal, go to
 Apple > System Preferences > Security & Privacy
   where you may see a message about the rejection and an offer to authorize 
the rejected app

I always use #1.  As I say, you only have to do it once.  Thereafter single 
clicking on the app, or one of its files, will start up QGIS.

By the way, while in Security & Privacy / General you will see:
  Allow apps downloaded from:
( ) App Store
(o) App Store and indentified developers

Therefore when you assign a projection to it, its origin point will be at
the origin of the projection.  In your case using EPSG 32638, that is UTM
zone 38N whose centre coordinates are 50 4649776 (see
https://epsg.io/32638).

The origin point of your drawing will be in that coordinate system; (0,0)
will be 50 metres west of 45° east longitude and on the equator; in
other words, 40.511256° east longitude and 0° latitude.

The latitude and longitude of Djibouti City is 11.572076, 43.145645 (see
https://www.latlong.net/place/djibouti-city-djibouti-24884.html).  You can
see that your origin point (0,0) in UTM zone 38M is 2.634389° west and
11.572076° south of Djibouti City.

Working back to UTM coordinates, in UTM zone 38N Djibouti City is
297791.1138793365 east and 1279891.9276488272 north (see
https://epsg.io/transform#s_srs=4326_srs=32638=43.1456450=11.5720760)

If your DXF data coordinates - say the centre of the drawing file - aren't
somewhere around (297791,1279892) then you need to transform your data as
you import it (or afterward).

[Qgis-user] ref pb

Hello,

I got an autocad dxf file describing objects in Djibouti.
no pb to load it in qgis as a vector layer.
but... the srid seems to be 0 and QGIS ask for a valid ref
as the data looks x,y, I did try epsg 32638, which is standard in Djibouti.
loads fine... but the objects are around 200km west of where they should be.

any idea ?

cosa intendi esattamente con "da un po di tempo": il problema si è 
presentato con l'aggiornamento di QGIS (da quale versione a quale 
versione esattamente)? oppure il problema si è presentato da un certo 
momento in poi senza correlazione con un aggiornamento di QGIS?


Hai verificato se il problema si presenta ugualmente con un nuovo 
profilo utente di QGIS?
