Well... You can sort of get a standard QGIS installation on Linux, if you use 
the flatpak 

Currently the QGIS flatpak is 3.30 and comes with GDAL 3.6.3 by the looks.

There is no standard for QGIS installations ;)

We don't ship GDAL with QGIS on Debian/Ubuntu, but build with the available 
version of the distribution.   

You are apparently on jammy - ubuntugis has GDAL 3.6.2 for jammy.
Ubuntu lunar has 3.6.2 natively.

[Qgis-user] pyqgis - external module issues

Hello,
I am trying to work in the scripting editor with two modules.
Assume I have a main.py script and a mylibrary.py in the same folder.

In the system settings I made sure to add the said folder to the PYTHONPATH
in prepend mode in order to be able to find the mylibrary upon import.

This is what I am experiencing when trying to work with the mylibrary from
the main script:

* sometimes (or maybe always), it the mylibrary module is run, then in the
main module the import doesn't seem to be needed, as if the functions
defined in the mylibrary were held somewhere in a stack
* sometimes, and that is the worst, if a function in mylibrary has been
changed, there is no way to make the main script reference the new version.
Somewhere in memory the old version of the function sticks and is not
overwritten
* sometimes mylibrary can't be seen (module does not exist), but after a
few restarts it does work

It is well possible that I am missing some configuration or proper way of
doing things, but I could not find anything related to it in the docs.

Does anyone have a good idea for me or see what I am missing?

Settings, Options, Data Sources then Attribute table row cache

On mine its set to 10,000 and Ive never had any issues Regards,

There are two constrains related do sliver polygons:
- Maximum thinness
- Max. area

The value should be the one failing the condition for the feature. Can 
be one of the two. The enum ValueType (defined in 
src/analysis/vector/geometry_checker/qgsgeometrycheckerror.cpp) is not 
exposed, so there is no explicit information about it.

[Qgis-user] Check Geometries Plugin - attribute value in results

What does the real value of Sliver polygon represent?
- it's not the area of the polygon
- it's not the perimeter
- is not the area of the bounding box

so I ask if anyone can tell me what it represents, I can't find anything
useful in the documentation.
