Re: [Qgis-user] Encoding problem in QGIS 1.8
Thanks, I'll check does it work, but it doesn't solve the problem. It will be a serious obstacle for upgrade and could discourage people. Do you know any other way for that? I know this is GDAL issue, but it is very important for QGIS users to have it repaired. Is there any chance for that? I want to upgrade in my institution to 1.8 but without polish letters it will be impossible. Maybe there is possibility to compile 1.8 with older GDAL version? I will appreciate any help. blazej -- Alexander Bruy ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Display problem
Hi I have a problem with vector data display in QGIS (from shapefile on 1.7.3 standalone, WinXP). When I'm zooming into some areas on the map I get a result like in attachments. This problem is seen with polygons that cover big area (i.e. 1st one is covering more than 3600 km2). For the first attachment problem starts at 1:8500, but at second at 1:4300. Is it a known bug, something new or there are some errors with data I am using? http://krakow.rdos.gov.pl/images/stories/inne/1a.jpg http://krakow.rdos.gov.pl/images/stories/inne/1b.jpg http://krakow.rdos.gov.pl/images/stories/inne/2a.jpg http://krakow.rdos.gov.pl/images/stories/inne/2b.jpg Greets Blazej Zamojski ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Label display scale not saving
I'm having a problem with saving settings for label display scale in project. I am using Qgis 1.6.0 but I also tried with 1.7.0 standalone and it was the same. Is it possible to edit *.qgs file and add information for this function? I can't use nightly trunk builds at this moment. RE: Re: [Qgis-user] Globally Unique Indentifier (GUID) in QGIS
Thanks, not really GUID solution but useful. Maybe GUID should be implemented in the future? When I'm puting 0 in properties in field where should be a value of no data I am loosing not only black frame but some pixels in the raster. It doesnt happend with all rasters. Anyone had the same problem? I tried to import styles from rasters without the problem, but it didn't work. -- Błażej Zamojski Green Power Development sp. z o.o. ul.
